GDPR for digital marketers

GDPR is the new EU data protection regulation. In the UK, it replaces the Data Protection Act 1998.

GDPR presents both a challenge and an opportunity to digital marketing. It ensures data protection rules are suitable for the digital age and empowers individuals to have more control over their personal data. But there is a lot that digital marketing will need to do in order to be ready for enforcement on 25 May 2018.

The programme

Our 6-week Know Your Data programme helps digital marketers and web analysts get ready for GDPR and turn the challenge into a commercial opportunity.

Working with you and your digital marketing department, Mezzo Labs, Trust-hub and 8works, will:

  1. Audit your digital marketing platforms and create a current state map of your data. We’ll understand what data you collect, what it’s being used for and what consents are in place. We’ll identify the risks.
  2. In a one-day accelerated solution workshop with all your heads of marketing, we’ll help you develop the future state of where you’d like to be. You’ll define the people, processes and technology you’ll need to manage your data properly.
  3. We’ll then help you create a roadmap of major actions and responsibilities, to ensure the future state gets delivered.
